FESTIVAL ENTRANCE

The entrance is located on the promenade in between Sandbanks Beach and Sandbanks Car Park Nr. Rick Steins Restaurant on Banks road. The event will be sign posted for your convenience.

LAST ENTRY

Our cut off for ticket holders to gain entry is 5pm. If anyone arrives after this they will not gain access. No re-entry after 4pm.

SUN PROTECTION

The most amazing hot weather has graced us every year we advise to make sure adequate protection is applied. Hats, Sunglasses and Sun lotion is advised.

DRESS CODE

We have a relaxed attitude to dress code but ladies should be aware that comfortable footwear should be worn as the main arena will be on the Sand as is the beach access.

drink

You will be unable to bring your own Drink into the venue. Please refrain from bringing any as you will unfortunately have to discard it into our bins or finish it before you can enter. We have a large number of Bars available with all tastes catered for.

payment

Credit/Debit cards machine are available on all of our bars but due to the location and signal they may become temperamental. The closest cash point machine is located at the Tesco Express on Banks Road.

age

This event is 18+ | ID will be required. We operate a CHALLENGE 25 ID policy at the bar so if you are lucky enough to look under that age then we recommend you bring ID so you can get refreshments without hassle.

food

You will be unable to bring your own Food into the venue. Please refrain from bringing any as you will unfortunately have to discard it before you can enter. We have a large number of Food Stalls available with all tastes catered for.

REFUNDS

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.

However, if we cancel or postpone the event for any reasons related to Covid-19 (or any mutation), we shall notify you and you may be permitted to transfer your ticket to the next calendar year event or you may apply for a refund within 1 calendar month of the date of cancellation/postponement. Refunds will be processed in accordance with your ticket provider’s terms and conditions.

The Event runs from Midday 12pm – 10pm.
Please arrive early in order to be in before the 5pm last entry.
No re-entry after 4pm

CIGARETTES

We will not be selling cigarettes on the premises.

Vapes are available to purchase on site

TRAIN

The best stations to come to are:
-Branksome (Closest)
-Parkstone (Closest)
-Poole
-Bournemouth
These sations are still some distance from the event so taxi’s are advised.

TAXI

Any local firms from Poole or Bournemouth area such as United Taxies, Streamline, Dial-A-cab.

WALKING

Best walking access to the event is along Banks Road or by the beach from Bournemouth Pier onwards.

-From The chain ferry (15 Mins)

BUS

Alternatively, why don’t you hop on the Breezer 50, directly from Bournemouth Station and Bournemouth Square? Or catch the Breezer 60 from Poole Bus Station. Let us do the driving for you! There will be additional buses running to Bournemouth and Poole, to help you get home. These will be running at the following times:

Check your tickets when they arrive as mistakes are less likely to be rectified nearer the time.

OTHER

Right of Admission Reserved. CCTV will be in operation throughout the event. The event drug policy states that all bags are to be searched for drugs and alcohol. Random persons will be searched on the from door and spot searching will be carried out during the event . ACCESS & CARER TICKET INFORMATION

PLEASE READ ALL THE BELOW INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING ACCESS TICKETS.

Access customers should purchase a standard ticket from the Sandfest website or FIXR direct. If you are applying for a free carer ticket please do not buy the carer ticket as we will not be able to refund it.

Once you’ve purchased the ticket for the access customer, print off the Confirmation Form (click here). Complete the form in full for each access customer and then scan or photograph the form and email it to hello@sandfest.co.uk along with your proof of disability and ticket purchase email confirmation from FIXR.

COVID-19 Policy

SandFest follows Government and Council COVID-19 policy guidelines.

All attendees are asked to undertake their own health risk assessment before coming to the event. This should include but not limited to:

  • consideration of their age and health conditions/vulnerabilities
  • whether they have any symptoms of COVID-19 (a high temperature, a new continuous cough and/or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste)
  • Whether they should be self-isolating

The event will NOT ask for proof of negative tests, full vaccination or natural immunity.

You will not be required to wear face coverings at Sandpolo although they are recommended in congested areas.

SandFest will adhere to any Government and Council event policy changes.

  • In order to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission you should not attend the Event if:-
    you have tested positive for Covid-19 within 10 days prior to your intended date of arrival at the Event;
  • during any period of the Event when you are required or advised to self-isolate (e.g. due to showing Covid-19 symptoms, being in contact with someone with Covid-19 symptoms, following notification from contact tracing services such as NHS Test and Trace or if required to quarantine following international travel or in accordance with Government or public health authority requirements or advice from time to time). See here for latest self-isolation rules in England;
  • your attendance would be in breach of latest UK Government or public health authority requirements or advice relating to Covid-19 containment at the time of the Event. Please note, these could differ from the above requirements;
  • In the event you are contacted by NHS Test & Trace whilst present at the Event, then please leave the Event immediately and follow Government guidance and any instructions given to you.

SandFest will take reasonable operational steps to ensure that the Event and all activities at the Event will be operated in accordance with Covid-19 legislation and Covid-19-secure guidance in force from time to time. It is a condition of entry and attendance at the Event that you adhere to all Event rules in force. We have the right, at our complete discretion and without payment of any refund or any further liability, to refuse entry to or eject from the Event any attendee who we reasonably believe may display Covid-19 symptoms or who may not have followed Government or public health authority requirements or guidance or otherwise is in breach of these Terms Conditions or any Site Rules (including, but not limited to, any Covid-19 specific Site Rules). Specific Site Rules introduced for the Event as a result of Covid-19 will be compulsory for all attendees of the Event. These will prevail over any conflicting Terms and Conditions or other Site Rules.
You will be attending the Event and using any facilities on-site at your own risk. We will take all reasonable measures to ensure the health and safety of our attendees and everyone legally onsite at the Event but we cannot be responsible for the behaviour or health of other Event attendees and cannot ensure that no attendees will have Covid-19. Therefore, you accept that we will not be responsible should you contract Covid-19, nor for any related illness or death as a result of attending the Event unless caused by our negligence.

If we cancel or postpone the Event for any reasons related to Covid-19 (or any mutation), we shall notify you and you may be permitted to transfer your ticket to the following year’s Event (subject to availability) or, alternatively you may apply for a refund. Any refunds must be applied for within 1 calendar month of the date of cancellation/postponement. Refunds will be processed in accordance with your ticket provider’s terms and conditions.

If the postcode to which your booking is registered is subject to a UK Government restriction which prevents you from travelling to the Event then you may apply to transfer the affected ticket(s) to the following year’s Event (subject to availability) or, alternatively, you may apply for a refund of the face price of the affected ticket(s). In all other circumstances where you are required not to attend the Event under the terms of our Covid-19 Secure Policy no roll overs or refunds will be granted.

Personal arrangements including but not limited to travel, subsistence and accommodation in relation to the Event which are arranged by you are made at your own risk and neither the authorised ticket agent nor the Promoter will have any liability for any such loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure in the case of a cancellation, postponement or because you are unable to attend the Event due to Covid-19 or otherwise.
